I used to sit in The Lighthouse Jazz Cafe in Hermosa Beach, CA and listen to Wes. I have a FaceBook Show where I feature music and musicians called "Las Vegas Downtown Diva". Wes is featured on it for everybody to experience. Thank you Wes for giving us your music.

Wes Montgomery made jazz music easy to listen to, but with respect to complex harmonies. On piano I would compare him to Oscar Peterson.

Wes was an incredible guitarist. One can only hope that people will always appreciate his contribution to music, and his influence on today's musicians. His grandson Anthony is a good performer as well. I guess it runs in the family!

Wes was an incredible musician who created a style of music that will never be matched. It's extremely sad and unfortunate that he left us at such a young age. It's 49 years later after his passing and I find my self playing 'Missile Blues' on guitar. His music left such an indelible mark.

I am the daughter of Drummer, Robert "Sonny" Johnson and I have to say how delighted and excited I am to see that this music from Wes, Buddy, Monk, Pookie and my Dad (and Aunt Debbie)is not forgotten. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to this project.
