Comments: Wes Montgomery has been by far the most influential artist in my lifr. His music is my life's sound. All feels real when I hear his music. We lost you too soon Wes. Thank you for what you left us sir.

Comments: Wes was an incredible guitarist. One can only hope that people will always appreciate his contribution to music, and his influence on today's musicians. His grandson Anthony is a good performer as well. I guess it runs in the family!

Comments: Wes was an incredible musician who created a style of music that will never be matched. It's extremely sad and unfortunate that he left us at such a young age. It's 49 years later after his passing and I find my self playing 'Missile Blues' on guitar. His music left such an indelible mark.

Comments: I am the daughter of Drummer, Robert "Sonny" Johnson and I have to say how delighted and excited I am to see that this music from Wes, Buddy, Monk, Pookie and my Dad (and Aunt Debbie)is not forgotten. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to this project.

Comments: Can anyone with deep knowledge of Wes's career please comment on this: could he have played with Coltrane/Dolphy, and Roland Kirk sitting in for a set? In Cleveland, early 1964. Strikes me as a bit improbable. Thanks!

Comments: The music of Wes is as fresh and innovative as the first time I experienced "Bumpin'on Sunset." Recently I learned of how he prepared for his recording sessions via tapes and headphones, just so the music would be just right. It always was. Long live Wes!
